Earthquake Resistance Information
Dear Residents,
Following the recent earthquake disaster in our country, we would like to provide the following information to help address any concerns regarding the structural safety of Nef 163.
The Nef 163 project was constructed in accordance with the latest Turkish Earthquake Code, based on officially approved and licensed project designs. Construction was carried out in full compliance with the applicable regulations and under the supervision of the relevant municipal authorities.
Beyond implementing the approved architectural and engineering designs, particular care was taken throughout the construction process to consult with and work under the supervision of some of Türkiye’s leading experts in the field.
Ground engineering and foundation design were carried out under the consultancy of Professor Dr. Erol Güler from the Department of Geotechnical and Civil Engineering at Boğaziçi University.
The buildings were constructed on rock-bearing ground using a raft foundation system.
In addition, retaining walls were constructed around the entire perimeter of the buildings to help prevent soil movement and improve waterproofing performance.
The structural calculations and engineering design were completed by Prestij Proje Geliştirme Engineering & Consultancy, under the leadership of Civil Engineer Tümay Doğan and his team.
